This is a great excavated find set: Original Indian War 1881 Infantry Officer’s Dress Helmet top Crown, and two Indian War Coat Buttons.
The Helmet Crown on this officer piece is in great shape. There is some normal wear and patina. The Crown is slightly bent. For a RARE stamped dug brass item, this is a nice find.
The two Indian War Coat Buttons are from standard IW uniform they used then.
Buttons are in decent to great shape. Normal wear for age, and buttons slightly flattened from time. Shanks are intact on back, and slightly bent.
All items are used, and dug up finds in an IW battlefield area in Arizona, near Fort Huachuca.
These items are historical, getting harder to obtain, and make a special group display for the IW collector.
The items have some patina, and normal wear for items that are over 100 years old.
This is an excellent inexpensive collector’s item for your Indian War collection.
